After an uneventful drive on Wednesday, we arrived in Bozeman, Montana. A surprisingly delightful town. Laid out in a grid pattern which made it easy to explore. Bozeman is also a college town with lots of college age kids everywhere. Our campground is fine and we arrived with only a two day reservation. I made the reservations months ago and left an extra day of travel from Bozeman to Yellowstone as snow could have been a problem. Now we find ourselves in a travel dilemma. The campground in Bozeman only has a reservation for two days and we aren't scheduled for Yellowstone until Saturday. The campground is sold out because of the annual softball tournament. A fund raiser for the town. We would have had to leave this campground and look for a Bureau of Land Management space, if available.
