Day 9 05/10/18 We left Vancouver this morning and headed to Hope, B.C. Halfway between Vancouver and Jasper National Park. Only about 130 miles and an easy drive. We are staying at Wild Rose Campground and RV Park. Rather a primitive park but full hookups. Our first assigned spot was so uneven we could not level the trailer. So found another one and set up here. After resting we headed into Hope. Seems there isn't much hope for Hope. A dreary little village on the way to Jasper. Stopped off at Buy-Low Foods for some dinner fixin's. Not much here but up the road about 40 miles is Hell's Gate. This is a tram ride over the raging river in a gondola car. Should be pretty exciting. Hope to get some pics to add. The process for adding pics to this blog is somewhat cumbersome. I take a picture with my mobile phone and then email it to my email address. All would be good, however the internet here is very slow. Sometimes takes overnight for the sent picture to appear the next day in my mailbox. Then have to cut and paste it to the blog.
This was taken yesterday at the Vancouver Lookout. I just added a couple of photo's that I took today in Hope. Some wood carvings.
